A look back
The historic farmhouse "La Molinalda" was acquired by the Mitterer family in 1988 and had 10 hectares of vines. Subsequently, the Mitterer family decided to switch to apple growing.
The increasing dilapidation of the house forced the family to act. Due to the need for renovation and in order to share the idyll of "La Molinalda" with guests and recreation-seekers in addition to farming, extensive reconstruction began in 2003. The typical Italian farmhouse was completely hollowed out, leaving only the stone walls, some of which were up to 80 cm thick.
After intensive years, the house was opened in summer 2006 and welcomed its first guests. In 2022, the offer was extended by luxurious mobile homes.
